A special free event only for subscribers to Orchestra Indiana’s full 2022-2023 season, this concert will take place in the E.B. Ball Auditorium at Cornerstone Center for the Arts in Muncie. Subscribers will be treated to a chamber orchestra program of light classical favorites, including Holst’s St. Paul Suite, Gershwin’s Lullaby, and Joplin’s famous The Entertainer. Kermit Poling returns to guest conduct Orchestra Indiana and is joined by classical guitarist John (Giovanni) De Chiaro, who will solo on Poling’s own Guitar Concerto No. 1. De Chiaro and Poling won a Global Music Award for their recording of the concerto. De Chiaro will also entertain the audience with several solo selections.
